my pc could handle counter strike perfectly and now it can barely run cs2 on low 600p
m4a4 is now WAAAAAAAAAY better than the m4a1-s because it deals more damage, costs almost the same amount of money and has almost the same amount of recoil

FPS isn't a good metric to compare performance, especially it doesn't make much sense to say it increases by x%
FPS = 1000 / frame_time_in_ms, so it's not a linear function. You should first compute the frame time in milli seconds, and then you can compare values in a more meaningful way
edit: ok that's the end of the video, but weird that it's only mentionned at the end

You should compare old and new skin models in cs2, the older skin models have a less polygons and simpler designs. All the new guns have the inside of the gun rendered. If you look down the barrel in inspect you can see they even render the rifling and firing pin of the gun lol. Also this would mean skins are pay to win.

This community is as pedantic as the TF2 community at times. It's a fun experiment, but then expecting Valve to optimize a 2023 graphical game for computers older than the actual public release of Source 2 is pretty stupid.

Try with skins, instead of default. I've noticed default skins have some internal components and the top 1/3 of the magazines worth of bullets rendered internally.
This is visible if you manoeuvre spectator cam into a dropped default weapon verses a dropped skinned weapon.
