I just recently managed my 20 year old dream to put together a top machine and I'm reading how to get above and beyond and OC it.
While I do understand the topics related to OC CPU and GPU OC, I am trying to understand what can I do to my RAM if any, I am even wondering if there's some incompatibility in the middle.
I have a MSI MEG ACE MAX Z790 motherboard with an Intel 14900k and 2×24 GB Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 DDR5 8200.
I have the feeling I got some not that good results on the memories running at XMP3 (last XMP profile) at 7800 MHz (this is supposedly the max frequency officially supported by the MB and the one until now fully stable from my tests). Attached some scores: https://imgur.com/a/uxeUnrX
How are these scores considering this platform? How can I improve them? Should I focus on my latency at this point?
