I put it into simple terms what this VAC wave means for CS2.

0:00 – VAC WAVE!
0:38 – Is this ‘it’ for cheaters?
1:19 – What did Valve do?
1:54 – Kernel level anti-cheat? (AGAIN!)
3:23 – How many have been banned?
4:12 – Fun ban facts
6:10 – VAC porn incoming?

  1. 0:56 how do I get my screen to say “Terrorists Win” after I won a round? Mine always says “round won” for both sides

  2. Don't worry Phillip, there are people who dont play cs at all anymore but are still interested in what is going on in the scene! In other words, I didnt already know!

  3. "Good job Valve so when is this coming to TF2?"

    Valve: "Dota Dota Counter-Strike."

  4. Today I have played 2 games of which I played against at least 2 Wall Hacks

And I don't say "suspicious" because they have good timing, etc., no… These guys were really bad, it was impossible to get close to 20K with their skill level, but do you know what they were good at? Pre-fire and literally throwing smokes just to shoot through them, it got us to the point where the bomb was full of smoke and we had to hide behind walls until they ran out so we didn't die.

But at least there's ~1 week without seeing a RAGE with aim, trigger etc

  5. This is very random, but the music Philip uses genuinely scares me, especially the synth stuff.

  6. Trustfactor is bad because its able to be influenced by simply reporting. This resulted in botnet's in csgo that could spam report you tanking your trustfactor into oblivion. Even the normal player if he is above average will get reported almost each game. You are punished for playing well with trustfactor because people always report you if you are good. Very bad system and easilly abused.

  7. I've been rage cheating since cs2 was released, haven't been banned at all despite a lot of the reports/hates/insults loll.. but today I've been VAC banned, it's been fun tho.. 😜

  8. Not sure why people don't understand this. Bans only come in ban waves, otherwise it's not very useful, more easily circumvented, and not as damaging to the people who develop and sell cheating tools. Every smart company only does bans in giant waves

  9. Phillip what do you think about the talk in forum and reddit that "Apparently" cheater got perma match cooldown instead of vac ban, i cant confirm it but since its building theory on why the banwave so small im surprised you didnt mentioned it at all

  10. Valorant's security people seem to think they can build a Moat around their game and detect all current and new cheats by just having an elevated piece of code watching memory. That's really disregarding the ingenuity and resourcefulness of cheat developers… and your own staff.
