I’ll be honest, I hate reboots (except for GoW) but this was splendid. Especially the first one.
You could see the vulnerable version of LC before she turns into a mary sue, in a fantastic island setting with a lot of great storytelling.
I just started playing the third one!!!! Trust me it only gets better

It’s great. The death scenes are some of the most brutal that Mortal Kombat sometimes can’t kompare.

This game is really nice. Played the definitive edition on PS+. Same with the second one.
I also have shadow of the tomb raider from PS+ but have not gotten to play it yet.
Great game. I haven’t experienced so many creative grizzly deaths in such quick sequence since the original Prince of Persia in 1989. I fell, I got crushed, impaled, set on fire, drowned. Good times.

Each part of this trilogy gets better imo. They aren’t perfect by any means, but they’re a good ride nonetheless.
Tried to start this game twice but fell off around the 4-5 hour mark. I still enjoyed my time, I think i was just playing bigger RPGs or something at the time, but I still think it’s a fabulous game!
I’d even be willing to say 7.5 or 8 out of 10 (with my time and be willing to bet I’m close. )
One of the best reboot SAGA in video games, they’re not that hard, so enjoy yourself and take time to explore the games. Also, they’re 1 of the few modern games that still let you defy gravity and change directions of your character during mid jump lol

I love this game, hate the sequel, and haven’t played the third, despite owning it for years.
I don’t even know what it is about the second game I don’t like, I just hate it for some reason.
