can we zoom out a little bit and talk about how weird it is to try to treat arbitrary, infinitely replicable patterns of bits the same way we do tangible, unique, excludable items?
I’ll be honest if their is a market for hacked Pokémon I can admire the hustle of a man making a living over the competitive integrity of a Japanese rpg series. Obviously not victimless but man as far as crimes go this is pretty minor in my book.
I know that JAPAN is insane about rules and IP though not like he got blindsided.
