200? At goodwill? Fucking lol that’s why I never donate to goodwill. Greedy ass evil company profiting off of donations.

That corrosion? Probably water damaged.

$200 in today’s arcade stick style controllers let’s you play on multiple platforms instead of being stuck in one system
As far as the madcatz SFIV tournament edition. I still use it (bought way back during its prime) and to this day and haven’t replaced the stick and buttons since i use it here and there, primarily using it on PC

Given how rusty those screws are I’d be surprised if it even works.

And the worst part is the next time you go there, the item will be gone.

I think a lot of people can kept easily use something like google lens nowadays. Take a picture of the item, and then get an estimate of what they can get. They are probably putting in the price they would see on eBay listings that end up on google or whatever.
It makes sense for thrift doors to do this, and makes lucky finds much more unlikely to happen. Of course some of the prices are just there to see if they can get some sucka to buy it.

I own this same one! Bought it back in 2010. Cost me about 250 or 300 at the time. It’s a good deal. I still use mine to this day!! Playing tekken 8 and sf6 on it currently. Thing is a tank.

My best thrift store find was a gameboy color, with all the accessories in matching color. They had it listed for $20. I got it for $20. 14 years later, it still works great.

Finding anything good at a ‘deal’ price seems pretty hard at thrift stores these days.

Rusty screws and sticker shock – welcome to thrift store gaming. Better off finding deets elsewhere.

I have the same one that I’ve been trying to sell but not $200 lol and mine is in way better condition

Funny enough, someone left one of these (a single player kind) and a pro controller out by the dumpster today. Both (surprisingly) work!

200 bucks for a used fight stick at good will is something a sucker would pay for.
JLeeT82
That stick was 200 brand new at launch, i think. I still have mine with the box. Sure as shit doesn’t have any rust on it, too.

Hey that’s my fight stick! Had it since 2010. Still works.

I still love my Street Fighter 4 controller and arcade stick
Apocrisiary
Wtf. I still have mine, exact same model as this.
I am pretty sure that is the same or slightly more than new price back then. And this one is in horrible condition.

I loved finding Guitar Hero controllers and flipping them. Nowadays I havnt seen a gaming item in years.
