I'm new to overclocking as a whole. I'm wanting to optimize my setup and have undervalued my GPU with promising results, and now seeing what I can do with my CPU.

I followed this guide : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE_vmGCq_E8

And unfortunately, either I've been very unlucky with the silicone lottery.. or I'm doing something wrong. I can't come anywhere close to what that guy sets without encountering crashes.

I did find my system is stable AND produces a higher score on cinebench at 1.2v, OC'd to 5.2Ghz P core and 4Ghz E core.

But this is with voltage override. And while it performs cooler and doesn't throttle (unlike stock), I only want it to draw that much power when it has to.

So how do I go about configuring the bios so that it makes out at 1.2v, but doesn't go any higher?
