Comparing Roblox to similar games like Little Big Planet or Mario Maker where people can make levels and, by extension, whole games’ worth of levels for free and don’t earn anything from it.
With those games, Sony and Nintendo didn’t directly earn anything from the creations. But it could be argued they indirectly profited as they sold units on the idea that there would be fan made created levels.
I’ve never played Roblox, though. I assume they at least provide a few games of their own making on the platform?

If anyone is unclear on just how fucked up Roblox’s business model is, check out the amazing two-parter from People Make Games.
Erik Eriksson created Welcome to Bloxburg when he was 14 years old. He has earned around 100 million dollars from this.

Roblox CEO is out here doing mental gymnastics like Cartman from South Park to wash his hands of any foul play.
Sickening.

Robolox the haven for child labor and pedo´s. And some how society is okey with it. That says much about humanity.

Roblox is a genuinely disgusting platform. They run a monopoly on their digital currency, actively promote gambling to kids, and don’t give two shits about the predators that prey on young children on their platform. Hell, they even employ straight up creeps for moderation. It’s absolutely sickening to see. Ruben Sim on YouTube covers a lot of the “darker” stuff that happens on the platform.

The CEO seems like the kind of guy who would try and justify slavery.

Roblox has *a lot* of issues besides this. I recommend [Ruben Sim](https://youtube.com/@RubenSim?si=k5shyNP7l3HPAmrm), he covers this topic pretty thoroughly.
Someone misspelled “grift”.
What happened to this game? I remember it being a silly but fun building game
