He loves playing as spiderman and iron man and we've been trying to progress to get more characters. He generally likes to screw around in any of the open BS levels like Manhattan, Asgard etc and has loads of fun.
Looks like he somehow deleted some save profiles by pressing buttons and not being able to read what he was doing.
I assume we're outta luck and I'm going to be trying to play this through in my spare time to gain all of the characters he had accumulated? Or is there some way to restore a save that was wiped by accident? This is for an original gen Xbox One. The console is like 10 yrs old. Old faithful!

There are cheat codes for most of the Lego games to unlock stuff. Do a quick Google search and type some codes in and you should be able to unlock everything.
DAMMIT CHILD.

The world has changed. I see it in the water. I feel it in the Earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, For none now live who remember it.
If the xbone was connected to the internet is there maybe a cloud save you can revert to?
Are you sure you’re on the right profile?
Removed the harddisk drive or SSD or whatever drive was used in Xbone
If you have a PC you then download a file recovery software they are free
Attach that drive you just removed from Xbone to your PC
Use the file recovery software to scan the Xbone drive
Search what was the name of those deleted files
If the deleted files were found then recover the files
Reattached the drives back to your Xbone
Now your little timmy can play again with those saved files
I’m sorry about the deaths of your save file and your child…
Haha, this must be a parental right of passage. We had a really hefty save file going for Marvel Super Heroes 2, and my son accidentally deleted it. He felt really bad about it, poor guy. I’ve been trying to replay the game as I can, but I’ve moved on to other games.
I’m not sure it was his fault?
My son recently loaded up the game last week after not playing about a month, and all his saves were also gone, and he can read.
I can’t understand why they had disappeared. But just put it down to corrupt save files, but in retrospect that doesn’t make sense.
Anyway, on PlayStation all games save to cloud, so I was able to just copy the cloud save file.
Does the Xbox have an equivalent to this. Because if so may just be an easy fix
