A new map with pretty rocks has been released. And water. And pretty sunshit.

  1. Hey Philip, what would be the best way to contact you in case i want to share some map related issues from the competitive pool? Cheers

  2. Hey philip just wanted to say that i really love your comment and hope youre doing great! Much love from russia!!!!

  3. i do have to say your knowledge about game development is a bit to low to talk about somethings still interesting to see how an outsides sees it

  4. To 3kliksphillip,

I watch your videos for almost half a decade now, and I'm still happy every time you upload a video about the cs mapping tools. I overholed cs_crackhouse
for CS2 and would love to here your unfiltered opinion on it. It would mean a lot to me.

  5. perhaps AI could help us save storage space. but most likely not, since devs don't respect our storage drives no more

  6. Caboosing never bothered me until I learned that it bothered other people. Now I can’t help but be alerted every time it pops up. It’s like being self conscious, you can’t unsee it sort of thing.

  7. I feel like you're the Vsause of Counter-Strike (and game-related content in general), you start your videos talking about fancy rocks and end them speculating about neural networks and the future of polygons. Lovely stuff.

  8. Regarding the end of the video, you should check out gaussian splatting!! (Not assuming that you don't know about it already)

  9. The way he said “mate this right here is from inferno” was too perfect for some reason

  10. I personally dont like when every object is 100% smooth for casual play. The right amount of jank always makes things better!

  11. meep wrong direction we don't want that we want a better framerate and a working (intrusive or not) anticheat 🙄

  12. Ah yes. The old smush the megascans together 'art' style. Really nice showcase of the rendering and interactive water tech though!

  13. To be honest, even if this map is short lived in its relevance, I think it will at least bring people's attention to the capabilities of CS2. People will actually want to push the engine further, and make their own things.

  14. I think you should really look into 3D/4D Splatting. I don't think I can wrap my head around it to fully explain it to you, but they already have plugins for both Unreal Engine 5 and supposedly even Unity. This might be yet another evolution for computer graphics and rasterization.

  15. Gotta love slapping some photoscans around. Cs2 isn't trying to look photo realistic either. It's like comparing SpongeBob to avatar… like they aren't trying to even be the same thing lol. But it won't stop children who die on the hill of an engine who's creators don't care about them.

  16. Hey, if you looks for cs2 maps, can you look at my map? I have 0 level in steam, soo…can you add me to friend list? Only for this map. Its about metro aesthetics (that Soviet one, not London or new-york). Yes, E-sh3 made by few meshes, but its alpha, and I going to remade this for matchmaking. Its named de_nameless, cause we have Nameless station in Samara, and it have 1 plant, and 2 ways to it.

  17. I am the only one thinking this map is ugly? You can see the inconsistency in textures. It's only pretty just as a drunk guy squeezes his eyes and then every female (or man) is a pretty woman.
