After I killed my CJR kit of Vengeance RGB Pro CL 16-18-18-36, I had to pick up a new kit, of which I picked up another Vengeance RGB Pro kit, however his time it was C-Die.
I’ve had it for about a week and it has to be flat out the most awful kit I could’ve ever came across. This kit won’t even run XMP at STOCK TIMINGS AND VOLTAGES without at least 1 error in Memtest86+.
I originally tried tightening it and realised I wouldn’t get very far, I decided to knock down the speed to 3200Mhz, and tighten thing timings from CL 18-22-22-42 to CL 16-20-20-40. This won’t slide either.
I was honestly convinced that I had degraded my 12600K’s IMC, but after running Intel’s Processor Diagnostic tool multiple times, the IMC comes back with a pass regardless.
God manual tuning is time consuming but I’ve never wanted to hit my head against a wall this hard before.
I can’t return this kit either, so my options are to put up with this kit and loosen the timings even more, or sell it somewhere explaining the issues and seeking and good overclock-able kit such as this kit:
