Hello.

I have recently built my new pc with a 7800X3D, 7900XTX and Meg X670E Ace motherboard and I wonder if its possible to overclock the cpu to get any noticable performance gains in gaming or is it just a waste of time?

Stock numbers.
Cinebench R23
Multi core – 14 556
Single core – 1648

3DMark Timespy

3DMark CPU Profile

OC numbers

Cinebench R23
Multi core – 16 281
Single Core – 1737

3DMark Timespy 3.4% higher overall then stock and 3% on CPU

3DMark CPU Profile 3.4% to 5.8% increase from stock depending on threads.

This should be everything i have changed in bios unless i missed something.

Expo on to 6000MHz and put infinity fabric to 3000MHz

Changed TDP settings from auto to the highest which is called "170W (230W/160A/225A)" in my Bios on my Meg X670E Ace.

PBO to advanced, PBO limits from auto to motherboard.
PBO Scalar CTRL from auto to 3x (this was different in all guides i found but 3x was in the middle)

CPU Boost clock override +100 MHz
Curve optimizer Allcore -20

Can I change other settings?
Did i lose the silicon lottery?
I must have done something right as it seems to be stable and it did improve scores.
