Wanted to have a push pull config with limited space, so I figured using a combo of artic p14 on one side and p14 slim on the other.
I’ve posted a similar post before, where people warned me about the fans fighting each other, potentially zeroing out pressure in the rad and not being efficient.
However I would argue that the extra thickness of the rad (36mm deep with wide fins!) would be enough space to avoid any pressure and turbulence problem of placing different fans close to each other (and because of the extra thickness actually make a difference).
I saw a video of someone trying this on a 420mm with excellent noise and temp-result, but in the video same fans are used on both side of the radiator.
I’m still paranoid and unsure of the result due to the previous warnings, but at the same time average radiator thickness is a lot slimmmer, wouldn’t it make a difference?
Is this a good idea (with p14 on one side and slim versions on the other and a 36mm rad in-between)
