
I made a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/17ne0oj/fps_limit_vs_power_limit_pushing_the_efficiency/) about my 5600G that is power limited to 24W + PBO2 Curve Optimizer, and it runs well with \~40% less power, though \~10% less fps, but is generally efficient.
I made another [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/17csh11/5600g_24w_pbo_power_limit_vs_5700g_24w/) comparing the 5700G CPU; someone tested it, and [they said](https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/17csh11/comment/k61bo8r/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) that it runs faster and has better efficiency.
With the release of Ryzen 8000 APUs, especially 8600G and 8700G, it runs almost double the FPS due to the better iGPU, but it consumes more power. ( based on these benchmarks \[[1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIb9xY0N4N8&t=891s)\] \[[2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ynq-flr964E)\])
I was wondering how the 8600G and 8700G will perform if they are power limited to 24W + PBO2 Curve Optimizer (to compensate for the clock speed).
