Soo I have rode the hype train and posted we might be getting 120fps next update. Today I have downloaded the beta my self and it seems to still be running at 90fps.
I was kind of disappointed, but still went to check out what might be new in settings.
I found this curious little option named the same-batch10-13 (under controls). I tried toggling it on and off, then switching frame rates, restarting the game with it both on and off, but it currently doesnt change anything.
Anybody who was in previous beta’s and might still remember, was this an option there back then?
Who knows, it might be just something left in by devs from developing 90fps, it might actually be a sign pointing to 120.
This is only the 1st out of 4 planned beta updates, I will try and check all of them out and report my findings. Official notes say they are going to be adding “brand new features” in beta’s 3 and 4. Maybe my phone specifically isn’t yet whitelisted for 120fps. Stay tuned.
