Does anyone know the reason why neon lighting is rare in Europe?
Many Asian cities I traveled to have it all around and it creates unforgettable atmosphere. I assume, based on how much neon is used in movies and games, that western world loves this theme as well.
So it doesn’t fit Europen architecture, some legislation preventing use of such lighting or something else?
