On this [motherboard](https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z690-CARBON-WIFI/Specification),
I have [2x 16GB DDR5-6000 40-40-40-76 1.30v](https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-32gb/p/N82E16820374314?Item=N82E16820374314)
I added [2x 16GB DDR5-6000 36-36-36-96 1.35v](https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr5-sdram/p/N82E16820374351?Item=N82E16820374351)
When booting, I get a “Memory Overclock Failed!” message. Turning off XMP allows me to boot up, but the DRAM speed is at 2000MHz instead of 3000MHz.
Is this normal? Do I need the exact same models on all channels to be able to use XMP?
I tried increasing the voltage as mentioned in other discussions, but was always met with the same error message.
