i’m not sure what to do, i’ve tried everything, but everytime i boot up my computer, it always reads 1530 MHZ on the GPU clock, and 7000MHZ on the memory, if i play a game like minecraft, it stays the same (minecraft is more CPU intensive)
but if i load up something like space engine, beamng, it does boost, however upon exiting, its idling at 1530 MHZ. i’ve tried everything, from changing the power plans, reinstalling drivers, underclocking, all of which, did not seem to stop the clock from always displaying 1530MHZ (unless boost)

due to this, i’m also idling at 44-50C, when a few days ago, it was idling at around 30-35C.

the clocks i used to get (i forgot the memory clock, probably 800 or 5000MHZ)
was around 350-800MHZ on the GPU.

I’m not sure if its a faulty clock sensor (if such thing exists, of course.) or if somethings just wrong with MSI afterburner and NVIDIA overlay.

specs:
GPU: GTX 1660 SUPER
CPU: Intel i5-10400f
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (i forgot how to check the speed of ram… i’m kinda new to this LOL)
