I just installed a 5600x in my son’s computer from a 3600. I left all settings on auto just to get into windows to check out the differences from the 2 cpus. When I went to ryzen master I saw a new profile called Curve Optimizer and after doing a little research on it I decided to give it a try. When it was finished I ended up with 4 cores at -29, 1 at -28 and 1 at -27 which seemed a little aggressive so I dropped them a little. I also let it optimize the memory and it ended up setting it at 3600 with very high latency which I will fix but I did run an hour of line pack occt stress test, an hour of memtest no errors on either and also an hr of occt core rotating test. I read that instability can come when the system is at idle or low power work loads that’s why I did the occt single core rotating test, time will tell though. After all that I tuned the cpu using ryzen master and cb r23 stress test and I ended up turning pbo on ,setting boost override to +200 with ppt 98,tdc 80,edc at 112 giving me a r23 multi core score of over 12180 and I single core was over 1599 pics will be included. While playing madden it was hitting 4850mhz all core with a 50%-65% cpu usage. Also while stress testing Temps never got over 75 degrees. I think the optimization tuned out really good and I also think we finally got a good chip. I would love to know your guys thoughts, tips, tricks and any ideas or advice you guys can offer. Greatly appreciated!!
