So in the mid 2000’s I was part of a fan film community that made a bunch of amateur films, posting them wherever we could find the bandwidth. Star Wars and Star Gate, etc. Some My goal however was to make something in an original universe, hence the ‘UCF’ series, short for Unified Cybernetics Foundation. Set in a *post*\-post apocalypse, where there was a global information crash but civilization is slowly rebuilding and cyborgs, once the rulers of a shining future, are the dregs of society and the story is set up like a police procedural.
And you know I never posted it on Reddit, so pardon the link storm as I pull together the various video sources:

[The Bridge](https://vimeo.com/11226623) (2010) – A, well, bridge short that was originally going to be a throwaway background scene but was too good so we spun it off into it’s own short film. Ended up featured on [IO9](https://gizmodo.com/why-does-this-man-want-to-stamp-out-posthumans-5533189) (now Gizmodo) of all places.
[Toronto Cybercide: Abstract Messiah](https://vimeo.com/138045287) (2011) – the feature length follow up! What starts up as a missing persons case turns into riots and and a prison siege by the Luddite movement wanting to wipe out all cyborgs.
