Two days ago I have upgraded my cpu from a ryzen 5 5600x to a ryzen 7 5800x3d. From reading online I already knew that in general the ryzen 7 5800x3d runs pretty hot. After installing the CPU I went in to play some call of duty MW3. I was keeping an eye on the CPU temps using HWinfo64. I saw that after playing for a few hours the temperatures where high in the 80 degrees. I also read online that apparently undervolting the 5800x3d works great for a lot of people, people were saying that temps are much better and performance also improves a lot of the times. In short what I did was:
\-Put a negative offset of -30 on all cores
\-PPT Limit to 100
\-TDC Limit to 70
\-EDC Limit to 100

After doing this the temperatures are indeed much better, after a few hours of playing I reach temps in the high 70s and my frames have also slightly increased and my 1% lows seem better as well. However, something feels different, and I was thinking maybe it increased input delay in some way? I have very little understanding how and if it could even impact input delay in any way, hence why I am asking here. Is there any way that undervolting my CPU increases input delay?
