I always download the game and transfer it first to the SD card before downloading anything else. It makes textures, menus, downloads, load times much faster. Even the gyroscope works better. Also running an Ethernet cable through an adapter makes for a lag free experience. My ping is 460 but it never lags just a subtle stutter here and there probably from thermal throttling.
