Hi all, just trying to get some help as I’m about to give up after a month of testing.
System:
ASUS maximus Hero z790
i913900KS
Memory – various kits. See below
RTX4090 24gb gigabyte extreme
8TB 2x 4TB WD Black @7000
Complete custom EKWB loop
Temperatures idle 25-34
Temperatures load 50-80
2x 360 radiators
1x 120 radiator
Memory kits I tested:
Corsair 5600 dominator 2×16 / 4×16
Corsair 6000 titanium 2×16
Corsair vengeance 7200 2×48
Corsair vengeance 7200 2×16
Tests:
XMP1
XMP2
Default
XMP1 and XMP2 with lower frequencies 5000/7000/5600/4800/4000/4200 on all kits
Tools:
Aida 64
TM5 anta77extreme
Memtest86
Problem:
System pass through memtest86 with all config above but fails aida and tm5. System fails even on default or lower frequencies.
CPU SP 109
Cooler 178 pts
MC SP 80
I’m not an expert so I ask you for some guidance as I had enough of testing.
Additionally I can’t even use the system as even without testing and at default 4800 or lower 4200 I get random black screens.
When it crashes I the windows performance stability tool shows “hardware error” without memory dump or anything else.
Windows 11 Pro.
