Seems like mw3’s campaign isn’t being well received; a mode that gets the budget n dev attention, and is where a good portion of the fan base reside (people still preorder for the campaign) – so it’s safe to say, you’d think they’d pull out all the usual stops to entice players to learn the story, to keep returning customers satisfied (like their promotional content and past works insinuate). Apparently that’s not the case when the experience ends abruptly, and doesn’t really convey much of a story at all throughout the brief (borderlandsesque) gameplay. Which only further emboldens the argument that mw3 is a cashgrab because it doesn’t have enough content to warrant a stand alone, full-priced game, and should’ve stayed dlc, or been given another year to cook in development (but, yaknow, corporate greed).
Just leads me to believe this year’s zombies is going to flop even harder than anticipated, seeing as how they can’t even get a campaign (that they already made) right, and zombies doesn’t get the tlc campaign gets. Starting to appear more and more like incomplete ideas shoved in as filler content to make a quick buck, that we pay to test for them. I hate to see it, but I’m not surprised, community input isn’t their measurement of success for a game, sales are.
