Short version I bought bdie off eBay, turns out they’re literally only found on one QVL board and that’s the Apex z590. My own fault for not checking before buying an expensive ram. These are g.skill 4266 cl16, [F4-4266C16D-32GTES](https://www.gskill.com/product/165/362/1623035221/F4-4266C16D-32GTES). Previously on my 12600KF that was oc’d to 5.5/4.2 all core stable they were running at 4000 gear 1, command 1, cl14-15-15-35, tfaw 16, Trefi 65k, trfc 374 @ 1.55vdimm, 1.34 SA, vddq auto memtest 5 anta777 extreme and 1usmus v3 tested for dozens of hours.
Onto my 13700k the same settings on the same mobo (gbyte z690 ud ax ddr4) do not work. I can only get 3600 cl14-15-15-35 command 1, gear 1 1.45v, 1.3 SA, vddq auto, stable sometimes (for hours) and it’s not heat related as they never go over 35c with my ram fans. I cannot for the life of me figure out if this 13700k just has one of the worst memory controllers I’ve ever seen or I’m looking in the wrong place. Clearly it’s something to do with the imc but I can’t pinpoint if it’s SA since I’ve tried such a wide range from 1.2 – 1.4v SA.
Typically my errors on 1usmus are Error 6 and occasionally error 0 or 12 which makes it very frustrating to pin point the exact issue, fixing one often creates another issue.
