Im using the Logitech G502 lightspeed and wanted to know what other kbm players out there are using. I also would love some ideas for what key to bind to the button behond the wheel (you can see it in the picture)

I was in MW19 using a Logi G900, but about 18 months ago switched to the Logi G Pro Wireless which is an awesome mouse, and recently (after being recommended them) changed the feet to Super Glide 2’s which I can highly recommend is worth the money because of the difference they make, there’s a new learning curve with the amount of movement they provide tho, I’m currently eyeing up the Logi G Pro Superlight 2 X (as the super glides k bought originally by accident we’re for this mouse anyway 😅)

Rocket Jump Ninja recommends the smallest and lightest mouse that is comfortable for you. I recently changed to the Viper V2 Pro from the Deathadder V2 and noticed an improvement.
Having said that, DO NOT PLAY WZ2 ON MOUSE AND KEYBOARD. It is not a fun experience fighting against every controller player with aimbot while the visual noise prevents you from seeing them.
KaMoITZ
glorious D wireless with artisan ninja FX red wine, i have and ping on the mouse button and scroll wheel for lethal

Am i the only one who cant see the pics?
GenoshaONE7FIVE
I used to use a G502 Lightspeed like you, but it soon developed double click issues and won’t hold a right click ads. Had nothing but problems with it.
Gave up on it and just use a controller now.

Razr Deathadder 2 I think? My side buttons are bound to ping and melee.
Manakuski
G Pro X Superlight. Seriously anyone using a mouse that weighs more than 80grams, you are at a major disadvantage. Stop using those bricks and swap to a light mouse, your accuracy will improve a lot.
Battle111
Logitech G pro Superlight. Switching to the Superlight 2 as of today.
MickaZ
Pulsar x2 mini. The buttons you have behind the scroll wheel will be hard to use in fights so there’s nothing incredibly useful to bind here imo.
StrategyCapital8581
Logitech G 305, seems fine but it’s my first actual gaming mouse, so nothing to compare it to. I use one of my buttons for melee attack, works well for me in those tight situations where I get caught reloading

logitech g pro. Tbh I would advise against binding any major keys on your mouse for FPS games as it would alter your grip and mess up with your aim during critical moments if you try to press buttons on your mouse while shooting.

Huh I use an almost similar layout cause I rock a PS3 navigation controller in the left hand .
I use the thumb button to decrease my cursor speed. Helps with long distance sniping.

Have your key binds set up in a way where you don’t ever take your fingers off the movement keys and use all your fingers.

I was using the wired Zowie FK1 all throughout Wz1 until season 2 of Wz2. Loved it – brought back memories of the intellimouse back in cs 1.6 when I was really good at FPS (lol).
Switched to the Logitech G305 because it was cheap & wireless. My M5 button broke about 3 months in, so I’m down 1 button (that was usually reserved for PTT ingame, lol).
mongolmark23
I have a simple Logitech g203 – essentially just gives you two thumb keys.
– Mouse wheel up/down – weapon swap – Mouse wheel as a button – lethal nade – Thumb key 1 – mic – Thumb key 2 – melee
I like having melee on key 2 so I don’t need to remove my left hand fingers off of WASD. I rarely ever melee but it’s there for that 1 in a thousand time I need to melee someone to win a fight.
Everything else is bound to my keyboard: – Left alt – ping – Semi/full auto toggle – B – Crouch – c – left ctrl – Dive/prone – Q – tactical nade – F – open (and to pay respect)
Bud_Johnson
Logitech Gpro Superlight v1. Map a button you dont need often because youre going to be taking your hand off the mouse to hit that. Maybe the gun inspect animation?
Jlemerick
Your mouse is for shooting and your keyboard is for everything else. As others have said, it’s best to have only aim and shoot on mouse bc when you use other buttons, you are changing your natural shooting grip which can affect aim. Decrease variables — don’t add more.

Razor Naga…
As a mainly MMO player, I want my left hand to always be doing movement related things and my right hand always on “game” related stuff.
1, 2, 3, are prone, dive and crouch etc. This is primarily as in WZ1 I could just do 1, 2, 3, in order to slide cancel which prevented RSI. 6 is plate 8 is melee 9 is ping

Middle Mouse – Lethal
Other than ADS/Fire, I don’t bind anything else to my mouse.
Picked up a foot pedal last year and use that for voice chat/prox chat.

Currently switching between the Final Mouse starlight pro and the Razer Viper Mini signature edition for competitive shooters.
For chill games I use the Gpro X superlight due to it being larger.

you already have C for crouch and CTRL for prone… why also set a mouse button for those? i’d set a macro instead.
your prox chat button is my “dive + plate” button, and your melee button is my “dropshot into jump” button.
Maddafoca
Oh my god i tried this mouse at a friend’s house and I have to say, worst mouse ever made, you’ll end up clicking wrong buttons all the time. I have a deathadder v2 with just 2 side buttons e 3 on top (scroll included) and it’s simple but precise
FleatWoodMacSexPants
In WZ1, I used to use the button behind the scroll wheel to open the map.
That way I could keep on slide canceling while looking at the map.

I have an Akko 7th Anniversary Mod 007 keyboard and a Razer Death Adder V3. I don’t actually use it for Cod though, use an Xbox Series X controller or my Dualsense edge for that. Its great for Valorant and Apex though.

I went from g502 to a G pro wireless and what a difference that made. The g502 was way too heavy for me and i had to hold a uncomfortable grip using it. It was a pain to try and pick up and make quick flicks movements with.
Like others mentioned I would not bind crouch, prone and reload to your mouse bec often times you need to use them while firing or using another action on your mouse. You can leave ping, equipment, and voice chat on there though.
Zhar_Dhuum
Using naga 12 buttons, ping is alt, r reload, 1 is nade 2 is tactical 3 is field equipment 4 is crouch 5 is sprint 6 is prone 7 is fire mode, rest is unused
TheCultOfKaos
Im using the G502 (but the x, the lightspeed was awful for me). I’ve been a g502 user for about 7+ years now. I like the weight savings on the X model.
Im running on 800 DPI, with mostly similar maps to you. I have prox chat on a foot pedal, since I rarely use it. (the foot pedal and prox chat). The foot pedal was mostly a tarkov thing since there’s a million keybinds in that game.
I can play on controller but it’s less fun to me. Still have a 1.6kd but it’s a test of patience some days.
