I love playing with my existing team mates, they’re good lads. I’ll still keep playing with them post this. Recently in ranked BR they’ve been struggling to keep up with the paced of ranked and we’ve really hit a ceiling in terms of what we can achieve as a trio.
We’re all over 35, out of respect we’ve not got a true organised in game leader (IGL) and we’ve slightly different play styles. I haven’t the attention to camp, one has regressed and has lost confidence and the other is very passive- sentinel like.
The past week was awful, I’ve personally lost 300 SR and whilst it isn’t about that we’ve barely won a gunfight as a team. I can hold my own but I can’t win a 1 v 3, for context I’m Diamond I the others are Plat I.
Last night after another heavy loss I jumped in with a random squad when we parted ways, two lads who didn’t know each other.
There was an obvious IGL straight away, we let him make the calls and we ended up with a 1st, 2nd a 6th and another top 10 in 6 games.
Even when we went out 42nd we had 12 kills and had pretty much closed our SR gaps.
Went to bed absolutely buzzing as were the other lads. We had a simple strategy, no waiting, no camping, push push push. I’ve not had this much fun in ages.
I still want to play with my mates but this change has re-energised the whole experience.
