Hello

I am a amateur writer who used to write for cyberpunk games (as in, helped write the DM notes and helped write character bios). After a while, I decided I was going to post my cyberpunk writing somewhere where someone might take in interest.

As a self-serving short plug – [Neon City Stories](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/70046/neon-city-stories) is a compilation of short stories. They’re mostly character driven as I slowly build the world. (also I have no idea if I’m publishing on the appropriate websites)

I tend to write a lot of internal, character driven stories that re overlaid with the genre and flavour of the overarching theme. Eg – a story of the day to day life of a wizard – but make it scifi/fantasy/steampunk etc.

I really love cyberpunk but am only getting the gumption to try more in depth writing into it now – so i’m looking for advice, encouragement and even a critique of my attempts.
I am slowly trying to build a full shared world setting for all these short stories – and I think I might be on the right track – but my CP kind of flavor is very based on my experience of it when i was fully involved it in in the 80s and 90s so I dont know if there are themes/motifs I am missing.

Also – I’m not as techy as I like to think that I am so I am playing on aesthetics more than anything else.

thanks all!
