”Here at Nvidia Corporation, we realised we were giving you GPUs that were way too fairly priced and lasted way too long for business (cough cough 1080 Ti). But you can trust us to give you the worst value GPUs now, so you’ll have to upgrade every other year, allowing us to maintain our leather jacket factory. We are extremely confident in our business model as we know that our main competition will somehow find a way to miss the opportunity.”

The rtx 3070 is a nice spot for a budget, about $400 brand new and I see them on the market for $300 commonly

Hopefully Intel keeps them in check.

Everyone are shitting on 4060 while there is equally as bad 7600.

This is the longest nVidia has gone between release of a new series to cards and getting a budget card out. No real budget cards released in the last 6 years (barring the awful GT 1010 which is still 6+ year old pascal and the not really budget GTX 1630/1650)

I think they are still getting over the pandemic price bump…..

You buy used 30 series if you want affordable

Budget? There are new 1660s around to buy. Some newer AMDs are bangs-for-the-bucks. Way better than spending your money on overpriced and misnamed 4050s.

Lol a used dell 3060ti is the best budget option just pick up an extra set of fans for $15

They exist they are just shit. If you want a low budget GPU, check Ebay for used 20 series cards

AMD’s entry level is their APUs now. They finally began using RDNA on them

Every 2000 series card rn is the budget king second hand

  12. Technically… Any nvidia gpu is good, if your eye vision is bad, playing anything lower than 1080p around 40-50 fps is fine by you.

TIL Nvidia is a business, and not my best friend

Honestly people need to bite the bullet and deal with their current hardware if it still works and save up the money for atleast some mid tier stuff took me 2.5 years of saving to get my first pc which was a r9 290, 8gb of ram and a fx 8350 and this was while all my friends were flexing their 580s-770s and etc at school but instead of settling for a 760, 4gb ram, no ssd and mid tier i5 I stuck to my xbox 360 till I finally saved enough in 2016 after 2.5 years of total saving
