Get a pole-type table clamp monitor arm, turn the tilting mechanism on the vesa mounting upside-down so it can tilt all the way up and be level, then either use a laptop tray (which you do have to cut down slimmer to fit the speakers) or like what I did, I used some adhesive to stick the vesa mounting plate (the one you screw behind the monitor) underneath the speakers then it just slides right on the mount.
I did have to tilt my monitor so the monitor arm is not interfering with the speaker arms so that they can still be level and not too high.
I also added an additional arm which has a vertical laptop stand mounted on it to hold my MacBook.
