In the opening mission of Modern Warfare II you participate in the assassination of Ghorbrani, which is inspired by real life assassination of Soleimani.

However, the real life event was carried out by a drone, while in the video game you use a ballistic missile (that shoots from a container).

Any ideas/thoughts on this creative decision? Moreover, if anyone has evidence/official statements from the developers, it would help me a lot!

Finally, any thoughts on why drones are a small part in the MW series (considering the classics), I think you almost never use them in the reboots (MW 2019 and MWII 2022)! While drones are a big (if not the biggest) tool in real life modern warfare?!
If anyone wants to point a specific mission in the MW series where drones are used, I would be very grateful!
