I managed to fix it by launching the game in the background the first time (after repairing the files through steam).
Literally, I ran the game and stayed on desktop right after (you can use ctrl+alt+suppr to do so). Let the game starting in the background a few minutes (you’ll hear it), then you can click on it.
It won’t crash anymore after that, at least on my side.
