The RTX 3080 10GB is a good contender, but we all know what happeend during its era… Besides that, the 16GB VRAM on the 9070XT is gonna age better anyways.
Games have also kind of reached a plateau in terms of visual fidelity (unless Nvidia claims otherwise), so yeaaaars down the line, when old 9070XTs can be gotten on the used market for "cheap", I don't think they'd struggle at higher resolutions in then-modern games as the 1080ti does in now-modern games.
