So, I bought two Kingston Fury Beast 16GB DDR5 6400 CL32 sticks separately because it was around 10% cheaper than buying a 32GB kit.
I'm pretty new to PC building and honestly thought buying 2 of the exact same model was basically the same thing as buying a kit. But looks like it isn't. A friend told me they can still have different memory chips inside and that this could maybe cause stability problems, especially since they are 6400MT/s and I'm using AM5.
Both are the exact same model (KF564C32BBEA-16) and same specs. The only thing I noticed is that they were made around 4 months apart. They also have the same code on the label (9905803-433.A00GF), if that means anything.
I can't test them yet because I'm still waiting for some of my PC parts to arrive, so I can't build the PC and check them in CPU-Z/HWiNFO.
Would you guys worry about this or am I just overthinking it? How likely is it that they are actually different inside even though they're the same model?
If they end up being different when I can finally test them, I'm thinking about returning them and buying a proper 2x16GB kit. But I need to hear the opinions of you guys so I can ease my mind, or.. be even more concerned.
