Still new to overclocking and learning everything, huge thanks to u/carlosChanpio70 for helping me out and teaching me some things. Next up will be a CPU overclock, but I need to get a new cable since my dumbass spilt coffee all over my second P8 CPU Cable. Currently, my CPU definitely looks like the reason I'm not hitting a higher framerate, though its usage isn't actually as high as the overlay's saying.

Did an undervolt + overclock this time, and uncapped MSI Afterburner's memory overclock limit. My GPU has an arbitrary VRAM overclock limit in the VBIOS, which I couldn't be asked to figure out, so I just set the overclock to 10Ghz to max it out. From looking at HWinfo before removing the cap, the limit is at least 3Ghz, and I haven't hit any VRAM stability issues from all my testing between OCCT, other tools, and a bunch of my games.

In a couple of my games (namely Cyberpunk), a 500mhz overclock was actually perfectly stable with no issues after undervolting, though in most other games it wasn't, so I had to dial it down to about 450mhz just to keep the stability across the board. Certain games and areas in games also benefited more from the overclock than others.

Core clock: Undervolted at 0.985mv, +450mhz. Memory clock: Dunno, whatever the max is. At least 3Ghz.

Specs: RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9800x3D (Yes I'm boring), 64gb DDR5.

Underclocked frames look a little higher than my previous post, mostly because I actually restarted my PC first instead of letting it run for 3 weeks straight lmfao.

I also, for the first time ever, am able to run 1440P native max settings in a couple of my games with this overclock without dipping below 60 FPS. Hell yeah. I'll make another post when I'm able to overclock my CPU.

If y'all have any more feedback on how I can push this even further to get better performance (that doesn't involve flashing my VBIOS, I'm not taking that risk), then lemme know!
