I feel like 10-20k is the worst rank to be in right now. It's so indifferent. Either you play absolute shitters or get your shit absolutely stomped in, and there's little to no in between. There is basically no punishment for smurfs; you get people who should be placed way higher or way lower, and there is absolutely no reward for playing well or fragging out. I lost 512 elo for this because cs thought we would stomp them. Also, the placement matches basing your rank on your last season is a really harmful decision, imo. It's crazy how I get more consistent and easier lobbies in level 7 Faceit. Sorry for complaining, but after playing in this elo for a while, it's actually such a glaring issue I had to say something. I don't really try to climb much, just really play for fun, but even then I want to have a somewhat consistent experience instead of guessing if I'm gonna hate or love my life for the next 40 mins.
