Blaze Entertainment dropped a new retro game cartridge reveal as The DOOM Collection cartridge will be coming to Evercade. This new all-in-one collection of id Software titles will include DOOM, DOOM II, TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, Master Levels for DOOM II, No Rest for the Living, SIGIL, and SIGIL II. All are available to play retro style on their console systems. The DOOM Collection Cartridge is Coming To Evercade
The collection includes the original DOOMand DOOM II, ported from their PC versions as a native experience for Evercade, complete with many quality-of-life features. The collection also contains the popular map expansions for the games, including TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, Master Levels for DOOM II, No Rest for the Living, SIGIL, and SIGIL II, as well as the DOOM: Deathmatch Pack, a collection of multiplayer maps designed specifically for local competitive play.
Whether playing on Evercade handhelds, Evercade VS-R, Evercade Alpha, or the new Evercade Nexus, players can experience the legendary fast-paced action of DOOM with high-resolution visuals, smooth frame rates, and full widescreen support. A wide range of options allow players to customize the experience, including three soundtrack mixes, retro scanline effects, and tailored control schemes across every compatible Evercade device.
Created especially for Evercade, this release also introduces a host of exclusive gameplay additions. Players can customize the action with new Game Modifiers including Turbo Monsters, Double Monsters, Vampire Mode, Explosive Deaths, Revenge Barrels, No Monsters mode, and many more. New violence settings allow players to increase blood effects or unleash devastating Shotgun Close Encounters and Chainsaw Massacre modes for even more over-the-top carnage.
