NC (formerly NCSOFT) today announced it will showcase AION 2, CINDER CITY and Project Bonfire at gamescom 2026, the world’s largest gaming event, taking place in Cologne, Germany, Wednesday to Sunday, August 26-30. The three titles will be featured during Opening Night Live (ONL), gamescom’s official opening-night showcase.
AION 2’s Founder’s Pack (currently open for sign-ups HERE) grants players Early Access, which starts Wednesday, September 30. Through ONL, NC plans to connect with players worldwide and build excitement ahead of the game’s launch.
CINDER CITY, an upcoming open-world cinematic third-person shooter currently in development, will debut a new trailer during ONL, offering a deeper look at the game’s story and setting. Since launching its Steam page in July, CINDER CITY has continued to share development updates and engage with players around the world.
NC’s new title, currently referred to as Project Bonfire, will be revealed publicly for the first time at ONL. Its debut trailer will reveal the game’s official title while offering a first look at its core concepts and key features. The ONL teaser trailer is now available on NC’s official YouTube channel. Additional details will be shared during gamescom, with further updates planned in the coming months.
