Raptor PR has launched Early Gaming Growth (EGG), a communications platform designed for gaming startups.

The “integrated communications, reputation, and growth-building platform” aims to support early-stage companies as they build credibility to developers, publishers, and investors.

EGG also supports engagement with B2B media outlets, as well as industry creators and micro-influencers across different mediums including Substack, YouTube, newsletters, and podcasts.

It also provides support in producing content for sites such as LinkedIn, as well as blog content “that demonstrates expertise and unpacks the industry challenges affecting [a company’s] audience.”

“The games industry media landscape has fragmented significantly over the past five years,” said Raptor PR founder and CEO Rana Rahman.

“To reach and engage a diverse range of technical stakeholders such as game developers, publishers, and investors, a multi-channel strategy is essential.

“At the same time, we’re witnessing an explosion in content across all channels, with brands and people overcommunicating, making it difficult for many to reach their audiences with their messages. EGG is built on the central premise that success in B2B communications isn’t about purely capturing attention, but building trust and living in the memory economy of buyers throughout complex B2B sales cycles.”

PlaySafe ID CEO and co-founder Andrew Wailes added: “Early stage gaming tech is full of smart people, many of whom fall down when it comes to talking about their businesses in the right way. Founders often need guidance to better articulate their deep subject matter expertise, as it’s usually obvious when a LinkedIn post has had little or no founder input.

“Long-term visibility and reputation are built over time, and it pays dividends to have the right team behind your brand. I’ve learned that the key is to stay consistent with communications over time, not just around major announcements or events.”
