The meta: There was a deal on BuildaPCSales yesterday for 4tb 990 Evo Plus NVMe drives for $315 on Amazon. A couple people in Iowa said they received makeup instead of the drives and a bunch of people cancelled their orders thinking it was a scam. The makeup thing was either isolated or just an outright lie, everyone else received the drives.
