So Widow's Wine being added is kind of a head scratcher since the perks major ability and thing it is known for already exists as Reactive Armor for Juggernog, and the secondary ability of increased melee damage already exists as Melee Macchiato.
So what could they do? The one thing Widows does that nothing else does already is replacing your grenade explosions with web explosions, which could give additional utility to all already existing lethal equipment in BO7.
I spent about an hour thinking about this at work, and I thought it could be a cool thing to share what I think Widow's Wine could be like in modern zombies.

Widow's Wine base effect:
-Replaces most lethal equipment explosion/effect with a web explosion that deals equal damage to the lethal used, and additionally slows affected normal, vermin, and special enemies. (Lethals such as Molotov, Incendiary Grenade, Tomahawk, secondary Cluster Grenade explosions, and Point Turret are excluded)
This effect freezes enemies within 5 meters for about 5 seconds and slows all affected enemies by 75% for about 10 seconds. (Specials cannot be frozen)

Minor Augments:
-Fresh Silk
(Webbed Enemies stay slowed for longer. Increases freeze time from 5 seconds to 7 seconds and increases the slowness time from 10 seconds to 15 seconds)
-Larger Web
(Doubles the webs slowness radius, freezing enemies within 10 meters instead of 5)
-Infectious
(Enemies that touch other webbed enemies have a small chance to become webbed)
-Sharp Fanged
(Dedicated melee weapons now have a 20% chance to apply the close ranged webbed effect)

Major Augments:
-Goliath Eliteeater
(Elites can now be affected by the webbed effect, but cannot be frozen)
-Brown Recluse
(Killing webbed enemies has a 5% chance to drop an Epic/Purple rarity ammo bag that restores one lethal equipment)
-Black Widow
(Enemies ensnared by the webbed effect suffer toxic damage overtime)
-Atracidae
(When you take damage at or below 40% health, you will consume one of your lethal equipment to create a web explosion at your feet. This effect has a 5 second cooldown and only works if you have a lethal that is compatible with Widow's Wine)

I'm not great with balancing so this could sound blatantly OP, but it's what I thought of at the time. Thoughts?
