WARNING SUPER LONG: But you can use this post as insights for anything. It will talk about mainly the state of codm with content creation in regards to how our favorite frauds make money and are fucked from the beginning and how mobile gaming is basically fucked because of many things and may not recover

First let's blame everything on Warzone Mobile and Apex Legends Mobile alright? Before these 2 games ever came up, mobile gaming was evolving so hard during like 2021-2023, where many are picking up interest on both players (example where PC players try codm) and devs thinking of bringing PC games to mobile.

GUESS WHAT? FAILED obviously and since then, codm was never the same. They tripled-down on basically earning more money, and basically forced codm content creators to post more slop for money.

While I do wanna yap more about historical shit… Things are mostly redundant. Like take literally info here as a grain of salt because many things are lost media and really just forgotten.

So to summarize

  1. Mobile gaming isn't being taken seriously by anyone at all. Ask anyone from the PC gaming and they have everything. From fan art, wiki pages, merch, promotions, modding community.

Here? All skins skins skins skins, DUDE I DON'T CARE, I have 1000+ codm camos, a free mythic and many free legendaries.

Gameplay-wise: Boring. For codm specifically- if a gamemode isn't about ranking up or grinding camos like prop hunt or that target practice mode then who fucking cares? Yeah let's play free for all shipment for 24 hours straight to get a cool overrated and overglazed camo!

All people do is play the same ranked for 5 years straight it isn't even funny. And when codm decided to add something like League Play and add more maps, all you do complain and not evolve. Because of it we are playing on the same nuketown map and not its variants.

Plus yeah about the bugs that are so hard to replicate that whenever a glitch happens, it's so damn frustrating. Low end device users suffer them the most.

  1. Content creation and I wanna talk about youtube specifically and dude it's about luck at the end of the day. Many codm youtubers never see the light of day while others have quit. It's 2026. Many codm youtubers are no longer active anymore, it's a ghost town and a shell. Many "popular" fraud ones only make videos for money. They're supposed to carry and entertain the community and improve the state of the game. Now most only do it for money.

I have been doing codm videos for years but till this day I don't get it. Why do some videos have even worser quality and still performing super well? What is even quality atp? Meme spam? The same quickscoping video again and again? And thr YouTube algo isn't even doing anyone favor. It's literally luck if your sniper vid gets recommended with the other 100 sniper vids. You create unique content? Nope too risky. If you wanna do that, go make a roblox or minecraft video instead.

Another problem is that from what I heard most people play rather then watching content. Yeah. Mobile Gaming Content Creation in itself is not sustainable and if you search "mobile gaming" on youtube search, tag generators and shit, youtube themselves don't even know what to make of this niche. With most niches you have "vlogs, gameplay, commentary, reactions"

For mobile gaming..? Ehem , new mobile games, mobile gaming news, mobile gaming is dead, funny mobile games,, mobile gaming scams, bgmi 2024

Whether it's deemed worth it and entertaining by the algorithm is a mystery. But that's another topic (looking at you Mrwhosetheboss and Jake Miller!)

A certain youtuber has lost respect in this subreddit because not only was he out from the codm partner program thingy, he started selling codm courses of 60 fucking dollars? When we can just practice on our own or by watching any toriels?

Or how about the fact that codm youtubers like a certain guy literally made a tutorial on how to do a game-breaking bug on how to be [TITLE CARD] or how to have 500hp on codm ranked and be invincible.

Meanwhile you do all of these in any roblox games, the devs won't hesitate to ban you and tell and influence othee to stop bug abusing ahhh lastly.

  1. The community itself. Ok maybe the world of Project Moon and cosplays and art fairs and gatherings spoiled me. But can anyone tell me where are the community events? What happened to the sponsorships? What happened to Hawksnest? What happened to merch? What happened to codm.gg website? What happened to archiving and preserving information on events, unused game files, ost (I MISS THE GUNDAM OST SO MUCH AND NOONE MADE ANY ARCHIVED FOOTAGE) What happened? Literally?

also I shall make a seperate post on r/mobilegaming sub within this week. It will be focused on how mobile be either emulation or perceived as those ad slop games and how people are making it worse
