Naturally, AYANEO’s post on the handheld’s unveiling doesn’t mention Nintendo’s handheld at all, but everything from the shape to the button layout to the orange and purple colorways is reminiscent of the first Game Boy Advance handhelds that hit the market 25 years ago.

And with that, the compact device has a larger but still relatively small modern 3.5-inch LCD.
AYANEO hasn’t given full specs on the KONKR Pocket Advance. Still, we do know it is a modern gaming handheld that will presumably run Android with AYANEO’s custom gaming-focused software. Additional modern features that didn’t exist back when the original GBA was released include USB 2.0 Type-C charging/data transfer, a Micro SD card slot for storage expansion, Wi-Fi 5.0, and Bluetooth 5.0.
