COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M football announced its slate of game themes for the 2026 season, highlighting four home contests at Kyle Field that celebrate the traditions, history and spirit of Aggieland.
The 2026 home schedule will feature the return of the Red, White and Blue Game, the university’s 150th Anniversary Celebration, Operation Blackout and the annual Maroon Out Game during the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown, giving the 12th Man several opportunities to unite in support of the Aggies throughout the season.
Red, White and Blue Game
Sept. 12 vs. Arizona State
Texas A&M will commemorate America’s 250th anniversary while also honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11 through the return of the Red, White and Blue Game.
The 12th Man is encouraged to wear red, white and blue as Aggies come together to celebrate America’s enduring spirit of service, leadership and sacrifice. The game also serves as an opportunity to recognize the men and women who have served our country while remembering those lost on September 11. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT at Kyle Field.
150th Anniversary Celebration
Oct. 3 vs. Arkansas
Texas A&M will celebrate the university’s 150th anniversary during its SEC matchup with Arkansas.
The game will recognize a century and a half of Aggie excellence while honoring the traditions, leadership and service that have defined Texas A&M since its founding in 1876. Fans can expect special in-game recognitions celebrating the university’s rich history and lasting impact.
Operation Blackout
Nov. 14 vs. Tennessee
Operation Blackout returns to Kyle Field when the Aggies host Tennessee.
The 12th Man is encouraged to wear black as Kyle Field transforms into one of college football’s most intimidating environments. The annual tradition has become one of Texas A&M’s signature game-day experiences, creating a unified atmosphere in support of the Aggies under the lights.
Maroon Out
Nov. 27 vs. Texas
Texas A&M’s annual Maroon Out Game will take place when the Aggies host rival Texas in the Lone Star Showdown at Kyle Field.
The Maroon Out tradition began in 1998 and has become one of the university’s most recognizable game-day traditions, uniting tens of thousands of Aggies in a sea of maroon. Fans are encouraged to wear maroon as the 12th Man creates an electric atmosphere for one of college football’s premier rivalry games.
