The Indiana Fever have been on fire lately. Caitlin Clark and Co. have crossed the 100-point mark in the last four games, beating the Seattle Storm 110-107 and 105-95, the New York Liberty 108-88 and the Connecticut Sun 123-88.
The backcourt of Clark and Kelsey Mitchell has been in a groove all season. Other major contributors include Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham.

On USA Sports for its WNBA Pregame segment, Cunningham was asked what has been clicking for the Fever, and while she touched on what was working, she was also concerned about one thing that wasn’t.
“Yes, offense is clicking. it is going to continue to click. My biggest thing for us is our defense. Too many people are scoring way too many points against us. That’s something we have to shore up on. We’ve been struggling all season with that. So, I think our second half this season is definitely defensive minded,” Cunningham said.
“People are ready. When you have stars on your team, with Aliyah Boston, with Caitlin Clark, with Kelsey Mitchell, they are gonna score, they are gonna do their part,” she said.
She emphasized the responsibility of role players such as herself. She said that it is important for them to bury shots whenever they get a chance.
Sophie Cunningham calls out Seattle Storm co-owner for cursing at two fans
Seattle Storm minority co-owner Celeste Keaton has been fined and suspended by the WNBA for five home games. When Seattle hosted Indiana on Tuesday, two female fans supported Cunningham’s comment about transgender athletes playing in the WNBA. Keaton reportedly yelled at the fans and used abusive language.
“I truly believe there is a safe space and love for EVERYBODY. Biological girls, biological boys, trans women, and trans men. Everyone is welcome at my table! You can disagree and still be kind. Bravo to those girls for standing up for what they believe. You’ll be hearing from me soon. yay for gifts,” she said.
She called Keaton’s actions “truly embarrassing” for the co-owner. She also questioned what type of leader she is if she misbehaved with young fans like that.
