

First image is the best I could do tuning manually, and the second image is the best I could do using PBO. The comparison shows the voltage/frequency/thermal cliff you approach with aggressive tuning, especially with ambient cooling.
Spent some time suicide benching, testing PBO and manual overclocking profiles, and thought this was worth a share. Neither are daily stable, this was done in 67 degree ambient temp with a 420mm AIO, and would not survive past 2 or 3 runs without freezing or BSOD. Benchmate's voltage is wrong for the first image.
vcore: 1.335V configured, ~1.34V realized
CCD0 multi: 54.75x
CCD1 multi: 55.50x
LLC: level 6
Both profiles share other VRM/voltage settings. Both runs have been verified by HWBOT. The manual settings I used are not "safe" so do not assume anything (TjMax, PPT, EDC, EDC and VRM core voltage were all well above known safe limits).
The main take away for me is if you are tuning for a specific benchmark, manual is the way to go. Took an incredibly long time tuning the PBO profile and about 1/10th that time tuning the manual profile. That said, the PBO method is inherently safer.
