This week’s new GT7 Online Time Trial sends the Gr.2 field to one of Japan’s most famous circuits, pairing the category with Fuji International Speedway on Racing Medium tires.
It’s a fitting stop, and not just because Fuji suits a field of fast Gr.2 cars… Igor Fraga picked up his second career Super Formula win there just last weekend, continuing his climb from Gran Turismo champion to real-world racing star.
On the leaderboard, NSX marks the spot: expect the Honda NSX CONCEPT-GT ’16 to be the car to beat. If you’re after gold, figure on needing something in the region of 1:29.500 or quicker.
There’s also a week left on last week’s event, which keeps the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R ’97 at Kyoto Driving Park’s Yamagiwa Reverse layout on Sports Hard tires. That one closes July 30.

Accessing Online Time Trials
If you’ve not jumped into one of these before, you’ll first need to unlock Sport Mode by completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe. There’s no need for a PlayStation Plus subscription to take part. See our full unlock guide here.
Once an event closes, prizes go out based on how close you got to the fastest lap: gold for anyone within 3% of the top time (2,000,000cr), silver within 5% (1,000,000cr), and bronze within 10% (250,000cr).
New events arrive every Thursday, and each runs for two weeks with the oldest dropping off as a fresh one appears. The next new Online Time Trial lands July 30.
