I currently have a Corsair Titan RX 420 AIO, my wife is on a simple tower cooler. I ordered on Amazon a TG Delid tool, TG Direct die V2 frame, TG offset mount screw kit, and a Noctua NL-LC1-42 AIO. My plan was to give her the Corsair as she likes the RGB, then I'd upgrade to the Noctua. I had heard noctua released direct die mount adapters, and incorrectly assumed they were compatible. I already ordered on Amazon.. The next day I'm realizing I may have to cancel the order and look at another option.

Anyone able to shine some light on if it's possible? Its my first time doing direct die at all, I'm tempted to look at buiding a custom loop but the cost of a good block alone is half of the whole AIO.. I have a 3D printer and CAD skills, I'm able to create and print things if I need. The motherboard spacers are 11mm from what I've found, I'd have to shorten them to 8mm, but then the mount bracket may contact capacitors on the board. I have an Asus X670E tuf gaming plus wifi, 7800x3d @5.4ghz 107Bclk. Current aio temps top at 72c after hours of stress tests. I'd like to see how much more direct die gets me

If it's not possible, can I build a custom loop for ~$300 that would beat out the Noctua? I was looking at the Direct die waterblocks but they're all $140-200 it seems. I already own conductonaut LM from my 980ti/W3670 Xeon days so I don't need to buy any. Thank you for any input!!
