Guys, I never understood all of your cheating posts the last seasons. I have 1.000h and a green trust factor. For the last seasons I honestly thought people were exaggerating the problem and maybe just have red trust factor. I only saw a handful of obvious cheaters and assumed you guys where just unlucky in matchmaking.

This season? Holy shit I am wrong!
Its completely different. I still play full green trust on around 22k elo and every third match has at least one blatant rage hacker…

What I dont understand is Valves communication and also the business decision they make with not acting. I understand that they cant talk about technical details. They shouldnt. But why not a short statement "Hey, we are aware of it and we are working on it." Why is there this full silence and loosing trust from day to day?

Without just bashing Valve, whats your honest real rational opinion? Why do you think they dont communicate at all?

Edit2: u/jcbsrl shared a talk by Robin Walker explaining Valves communication philosophy. Whether you agree with it or not it probably gives the most rational explanation I have seen so far for why Valve stays so silent. Thanks for sharing.
