A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three “fresh” events now live and running through next Monday. “Fresh” is a stretch this time, though: every combination on offer has already raced earlier this year.
Race A puts the Honda NSX Type R ’92 back on Grand Valley – Highway 1, Sports Medium tires and a Grid Start, the same pairing that ran on March 2, just one lap shorter than this week’s six.
Race B sends Gr.3 machinery to Brands Hatch’s Grand Prix layout for six laps on Racing Hards, an exact repeat of the race that ran on March 16. Race C revives the Gr.4 field at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve for ten laps, also on Racing Hards, matching the event from January 12 detail for detail.
Recycling Daily Races combinations isn’t new; Polyphony Digital has done this periodically for as long as the mode has existed, and it’s always a bummer. Just two weeks ago, an entire week’s lineup was repeats too. It hasn’t gone unnoticed by the community, generating plenty of justified grumbling.
Adding insult to injury, there’s not much tactical depth to make up for the reruns, either. All three races skip the need for any pit stops and fuel and tire wear sit at their default 1x multipliers across the board, so there’s nothing to manage beyond stringing together clean, consistent laps.

About GT7 Daily Races
Daily Races are the main ranked multiplayer events in Gran Turismo 7. Your DR and SR are determined by your performances, updating at the end of each race, and these are used to set your ranking for the game’s flagship esports series each season.
In order to access the Daily Races, you’ll need to unlock Sport Mode, by completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe single player hub. A PlayStation Plus subscription is required to take part.
With GT7’s Daily Races updating every Monday across the game’s life to date, the next new set should arrive on Monday, July 27.
